Exhibition Title
Much like a wheel with its spokes, the arts community can only continue to move forward with the support of its individual artists. With their own unique style, each of the “Four Spokes” of this exhibition have decided to join together to create an exhibition that is greater than the sum of its parts. Representing not only the work that artists create on their own in the studio, but also the things that they can create when their efforts turn to organization.

In 1992, Piermont’s first artist-run gallery opened, bringing together 24 artists from the New York tri-state area to showcase their finest work. The Flywheel Gallery is now part of a thriving gallery scene, alongside venues like The Happy Dog Gallery, and the Piermont Fine Arts Gallery.
